SUSAN COMISH believes in Santa Claus! Her magical works of Christmas art include sparkling angels, prancing reindeer and of course the jolly old man with the twinkle in his eye. Each print tells a story that will capture your imagination and your heart. Susan is a classical realist painter. The people in her paintings seem to come to life, captured by surprise with amazing expression in the eyes. After a BFA from Brigham Young University, Susan specialized in oil portraiture with John Howard Sanden of the Art Students League of New York, the late Robert Bruce Williams of Washington, DC and with the renowned painter, Gene W. Anthony. She has a varied and impressive portfolio of work. Her historical and religious paintings, which hang in universities, businesses, research institutions, and private homes on several continents, are charged with emotion and sometimes even humor. Her popular Christmas prints have made her the expert of the "real" Santa Claus! Susan Comish is a member of the Portrait Institute of New York and a certified member of the American Portrait Society.
